I am not sure if I was put on academic probation and I do not want to fail to report it on my AMCAS "Institutional Action" question.
I had a very bad semester several years ago at a community college, in which I believe I would qualify for academic probation. However, I never received any notice about my status and it never appeared on my transcripts. I also called the school today and they told me to check the online web service, which would indicate my student standing for the semesters I attended. Once again, I can't find any indication of me being placed on academic probation.
I am now assuming that I was never placed on probation, but I am wondering if there is any other way me or medical schools will be able to check. I just want to report honestly on my application and not have a mistake like that hurt me later.
