So I already submitted my AMCAS application for this cycle and it's already verified however there has been a huge change in one of my activities. On the application, they have a space for the total expected hours and I'm currently a scribe with about 200 hours and thought that I would be at that job until the next year so I put about a 1000 hours in the application. However, I am thinking about leaving that job because I found a better one and I can't make changes to my activities. What do I do?

I’m not sure how seriously adcoms fake expected hours in the first place, but is your potential new job clinical? Maybe you can still get another 1000 hours.

For schools with an appropriate Secondary prompt, you can make the correction there. For others, wait until you've been in the new job awhile, then include the information in an update letter (if the school allows one).
