AMCAS activities referencing one another?

I was wondering if it was appropriate to reference another activity in description. Like "From what I learned in XXX, I applied the same thing here in this way..."? Or would that just confused adcoms?

Since you don't know in what order each med school will list your activities (there are multiple ways an organization can choose to sort them), I suggest you should not specifically refer to another space with the assumption that it will have been read. It is OK to say, "I found that the customer service skills I learned as a cashier served me well when dealing with difficult parents at the hospital." Or somesuch.
