Each of those 2 things you listed should have it's own category. One would be titled Undergrad Research and the other would be Intramural Soccer.
Unless its something huge like a publication, it doesn't need its own distinguishing category.
For my app I think I had one called social activites - which include Res Life Association, Fraternity, and something else.
