How does amcas or selected medical schools check if the activities we listed in the work/activities section is accurate?

I can't find a place to put my verifier's phone number or email address. All it asks is the contact's name.

Do individual schools check and if so how? We haven't provided the information. Is this part of the secondary application?

Thanks for any information on this subject.

I dont believe AMCAS verifies ECs, but I have heard that some schools do, that is why they ask for more detailed contact info on the secondaries.

It's the individual schools that ask around. But playing late into the deadline, they're swamped with applicants, and most likely they'll take you for your word.

Now when they've slashed out 99.999% of the people and you're one of the 0.001% who get an interview, well yes they have less people and they'll start calling around. I'm having the same problem. Because I have awards from another country that are national awards (National Science Fair for Chemistry), but I don't know whom they should contact. =="
