Hi all,

Is it etiquette to list a website reference on the AMCAS Secondary Experiences section of the application if the website is directly related to the experience?

e.g., If I have done freelance art on the side for income for many years, can/should I list my freelance website?

Thanks,
James

I'd say "why not!" If you find your art to be "good" enough to showcase to admissions cmtes., then yes. By all means, do it. I don't know if they would go and visit the site, but at least it's there so they don't assume you're making stuff up.

Jason,

Thanks, I'm one of those old premeds folks (9 years out of undergrad)...so, my secondary experiences have the arts (freelance) and business science stuff which may need to be supported by showing the website reference.

thanks for your reply. i'm sending off my application at the end of next week!

I listed it on my app. Just make sure it's not some huge complicated address.

Does anyone know how many pics AMCAS reqs? Like 1 for them and 1 for each school you apply to?

AMCAS doesn't need any pics, and only about half the schools want them.
