Hey guys,
I know I am late in asking this, but if I wanted to know how long does it usually take for AMCAS to process your file. Does the date it gets processed and sent to the applied med schools considered the date of submission, or the date it was submitted to AMCAS considered your date of submission. For example, the schools that have primary deadline for, say, Oct. 15th, is it too late to apply to these schools if AMCAS takes 14 business days to process my file?
Thanks

I actually called AMCAS and asked them this. You have to have your application submitted to them before October 15th to meet the 10/15 schools' deadline. And after that you would proceed on as normal... wait to be verified, submit your primary and secondary.

Correct. Keep in mind, also, that your transcripts must arrive at AMCAS no later than two weeks after the deadline for any school, otherwise you will still miss the deadline. For instance, for an October 15 deadline, your transcripts must arrive by October 29, or you will miss the deadline for that school.

It will take them about a month to process it if you submit it today.

At this point I believe it is about 2 weeks for verification. Either way, it's starting to be very late.
