Hello,

I have submitted 21 of 24 secondaries before realizing a mistake in my application. I accidentally misprinted one of my AMCAS activity's start date as one year early (2015-2018 instead of 2016-2018). However, the total amount of hours is listed correctly. I did get a letter of recommendation from the contact of that activity, which might bring attention to this discrepancy. How should I contact schools about the error? Should I email the listed admissions email and send a short notification of my error? Do schools typically accept error corrections via email, or should I call each individual school to make sure that this is ok before I email them? Please weigh in, generous SDN members. Thank you for your time.

just leave it alone. Pretend you dont know about it and if it is brought up ever just say "huh, honest mistake, see the hours are correct"

No one will notice. If they do notice they won’t care. If they do care then it will be post matriculation and simply saying “I apologize, didn’t realize I had a typo in there” will suffice.

Plausible deniability. You are good.

Gotcha. Planning on ignoring it unless brought up. Btw, how in the holy name of LizzyM do you have 0.5 of a II?????
