In the experiences section on the amcas, I was wondering how long your experiences are? I mean, should each be around a paragraph? Also, how are you guys writing them, do you write them in first person, resume form, or what, and if it is research do you describe the research you did in detail? If possible, can anyone post a sample of your experience. thanks.

I listed my experiences in first person and basically described what i did and/or how it was important to me. For my research, I followed the following basic rubric:

I have conducted research with *prof* in his/her *lab name* in the field of *project description*. I presented my findings in *date* at the *presentation location*.

hmmm... so I notice you are not describing your research in detail. For example your day-to-day routine.

you can do whatever you feel would be best.. but just make sure what you write, you know fully..
many times medical school interviews will partner you up with someone of similar research background who might or might not grill you about the details of the field you researched...
