I'm aware that AMCAS takes into account the +/- system of schools (or applies it?).

My undergrad does not use the +/- system. A=4, B=3, and so on. Does this mean my AMCAS GPA will differ from my undergrad GPA? And if so, then how would AMCAS go about obtaining whether or not I scored an A-, A, or A+ in a class considering my undergrad institution only records the straight letter grade?

I've already searched this topic and literally found two exactly opposite answers, yes and no.

Thank you in advance

If your ugrad only does straight letter grades, your AMCAS and ugrad should be the same.

I think some schools put A- on the transcript, but still count it as 4.0. In that case, the two gpas would differ.
