Hey All,

Question about calculating AMCAS GPA....

Science Class Teaching Assistant for Credit.....goes towards cGPA but not sGPA?
Science Research for Credit......goes towards cGPA but not sGPA?

For courses that are only given Pass Fail / Satisfactory Unsatisfactory, do these get entered? A number of credits is assigned but no grade points or contribution to transcript GPA as course was given only as pass fail.

Finally, courses that you withdrew from but are still on transcript, do those get added on AMCAS or do they get left off?

1) Do you get an actual grade for your teaching assistant credits or is it P/F? That aside, the couple of posts I found on SDN kind of suggest that it doesn't count for BCPM but rather EDUC.

2) Research should count for BCPM.

3) Everything on your transcript gets entered as-is. For P/F courses, you'll mark them as such (if I remember correctly, there's a special flag for that).

4) See 3) -- everything on your transcript goes in.

I hope it goes without saying that the AMCAS documentation is pretty helpful for this. 🙂
