What program did you use to format your AMCAS personal statement? How do you make sure it is formatted properly when you copy and paste it?

I used Word. Just read through it carefully before you submit to make sure there aren't any weird symbols/nothing got cut out.

I also used word. When I pasted it into AMCAS I went through and removed/retyped any punctuation (especially apostrophes and quotation marks). I think AMCAS also has some sort of print-preview function for the personal statement that I also used to check mine.
