Hi All:

In my dashboard, it is showing that "Application - AMCAS Processing is Complete". But what happens next? According to the official status explanation, "Processing is Complete" means that "Application has been made available to your designated medical schools." When does AMCAS send the applications to medical schools, and when should we expect the secondary applications? Thank you.

1) You can print off a final copy of your application, which will include your verified transcript, amcas-calculated GPAs, and any corrections made.

2) Not until the end of June.

3) A few schools that don't scteen your info at all might send Secondaries before they see your application (a money-making opportunity, doncha know). Most wait til they have your application in July. And others screen thoroughly before inviting a Secondary submission, so it could take weeks longer.

What you should be doing now is pre-writing your secondaries. Go to the 2017-2018 school threads and find the secondaries for each of the schools you are applying to. Most of the time the schools will have the same questions, save for maybe a couple changes.

@WedgeDawg has collated all the Secondary prompts from last year here in one easy to access format: 2017-2018 Secondaries (Alphabetical List)

Wait a minute not sure if I'm understanding this correctly. There's a chance that we may get secondaries BEFORE June 29th from schools?
