Quick Question

I have looked thru 30+ pages and can't find the answer. (Possibly due to the fact that I just logged 270~ credits into AMCAS and am a little loopy.)

Can you submit your AMCAS (along with transcripts) before you have a MCAT score back?

If not, can you send your transcripts ahead of time and have them there for verification as soon as you submit.

And on a side note, do you think it necessary to have an intro and conclusion in your PS?

Thanks,

Jason

Yes you can submit before having MCAT score, but med schools won't review your application until they have it, so your application will wait behind others. Applying early increases your chances.

Yes you can send your transcripts early, as long as you've registered with AMCAS and have an AAMC ID #. AMCAS won't verify your app until all transcripts are in so definitely send them ASAP.

All good essay writing rules apply to PS.
