amcas work activites

hi all-

For the AMCAS-MD/PhD work activites, should we list all our most impressive science-related activites before listing our "med-school activites?" For example, should I put all my poster presentations, publications, research activites, research awards before adding volunteer activites, clinical shadowing, tutoring etc? which takes priority? i hope this makes sense. any help is appreciated. thanks!

Are you referring to the order of your activities (because I really don't think that matters) or which 15 activities you decide to include? If you have so many research activities that you run out of room, consider condensing some (for instance, I had a volunteer position, for-credit internship, conference presentation, and thesis all in the same lab, so this was one activity on AMCAS, just with a longer description). Ideally, you want a good representatation of research, clinical, and volunteer activites on AMCAS if you've done all 3.

AMCAS automatically orders your experiences section by start date, regardless of what order you actually enter them in.

thanks thundrstorm- yes I was interested in WHICH 15 ACTIVITES TO INCLUDE. that is extremely helpful to add them into the description. thank you.
