Im working on my work experiences section, and I see that each activity can be listed more than once.
If lets say I had a lengthy volunteer experience where I volunteered for 60% of time and shadowed for 40% can I list it once as volunteer and once as shadowing?
I would obviously have different descriptions.
Or another experience I had I was a teaching assistant, received occupational training, and performed my own research. Could I list it three times?

It's not uncommon that an activity might qualify for more than one of the provided AMCAS categories. You get to pick the most appropriate (using the Name and description to make the other categories clear), or alternatively split out some of the hours into another slot, with a diffetent tag, without double counting them.

Thanks, I guess I will evaluate how many slots I have open and only split the true "double categories"

Depends on how many things you have to fill up the section, and it depends on how different each portion of your experience was. I believe it is allowed, so you just have to figure out what to highlight and how to show your skills and perspective.

I would list it under one entry and then specify using the description because there's no need in wasting precious space for one activity. But if you're short on activities, you could split them up so it looks better. In the end, you probably only have a single contact person for these two activities so it might be easily seen through if you split them up.
