Just a quick question for all of you out there.

Do most american school's accept you based on your last two years of undergrad or do they look at your entire four year run. I ask because upon calculating my BCP, Science, Non science and undergrad gpa's there is a substantial difference between my last two years and my entire undergrad.

Also, to those that post their gpas on this site do you post from your last two years or entire four years?

Hmm maybe you're Canadian too. The GPAs they use in America are over all four years, unlike here in Canada where its last 2/3 years.

it's entire four years but they do like to see the upward trend. But upward trend will not beat the four years of solid gpa.

I would assume that most of us who post our gpas are not just the last two years of undergrad gpa.

Dental schools look at the entire picture. Yes, this means they will look at all four years and your GPA in that time. I know, however, that improving your grades by a substantial amount your last two years or generally an upwards trend, dental schools will take that into consideration. As for posting GPA's on this site, i can't speak for everyone else but I posted my 4 year GPA.

Thanks for the quick reply from everyone.

However I am not sure everyone is answering it correctly. I am aware that they look at your entire GPA however when they base their acceptance, is it on your last two years of study or your entire 4 years of study?

We all said its the entire 4 years. Upward trends help too.
