I'm a canadian permanent resident and I have 3.7ish AMCAS GPA....good enough for schols like SUNY upstate? mtsinai? NYMC? Penn state? Wisconsin medical college?
 
anyone??...i have volunteering, hospital volunteering, and working as summer student in research with me....i'm an honors student as well...if it makes a difference....
 
wayne state doesnt take canadian permanent residents...only citizens..i havent researched about boston yet..
 
How is everyone doing? I hope everyone's application process is going well.

I was wondering my chances.
Major: Political Science.

Overall GPA: 3.75
Science GPA: 3.78

MCAT: Verbal: 11
Physics: 11
Biology: 12

EC

1.) Worked for and raised money for my Congressman for 4 years.
2.) Did research for 3 years and have a chance to get published second name. The lab i work in gets published a lot.
3.) Volunteered in a hospital in India for 2 months, got to scrub in on surgeries, drill through patients foot, to help with orthopedic surgery, and help the doctor with surgeries by assisting holding the skin open.
4.) Volunteered in a competitive hospital program through my school.
5.) I have a history of epilsey also, which deterred my progress for some part of life due to the medications i took.
6.) I also work full-time in building and networking computers.
