Is amine chemistry tested on the DAT?

To be more specific are these reactions found on the DAT?
- reductive amination by NaBH3CN
- gabriel synthesis of primary amines
- nucleophilic substitution of amines with alkyl halies
- hoffmann degradation
- reactions of diazonium salts

Yes...Indeed. The amines are an important part of organic chemistry, medicine and dentistry. All of the above reactions are likely to be seen on the DAT exam.

If you take a look at some previous DAT exams....topics such as amine basicity, extraction, Gabriel and azide synthesis, Diazonium salts are all tested.
