You can't find out those stats until the cycle ends. Last years stats are just now coming out.

This might sound stupid but how do you check?

Actually, I think dental applications have reached their peak (about 12,500 per cycle). Its been hoovering around this number for past 2-3 years and I bet this coming year, same thing.

However, If you were to look back to 2005 & 2006, it was around 8000.
