Hello everyone,
I gave my exam yesterday and I am so disappointed Seeing the exam I felt that I needed atleast 3 more months to be at that level. I hardly had 5-7 questions from previous papers. I had a lot of questions on condyle as expected but far beyond my imagination . Physiology was so confusing.....
All I can suggest everybody is have a good grip on basics( which i guess I didnt have). Read theory again and again and be thorough. Q papers just tell you the way to answer. But theory is all that maters...

Thank you for your advice. Could you give us more details about the test? how they asked the questions about condyle? what about the other sections like biochem, anatomy...
I think you will be fine. Everyone feels the same after the test but it turns out very high score later...

dont worry everyone feel the same after the exam you will be after you get the results.can you tell something about condyles how they asked? physio what part is difficult ?.do you think kaplan and questions ,decks are enough or do you think we should refer any other material??

Huum...., like everybody even I am of the opinion that you have done better than you think.........so keep up the faith and patience.........we all know how well you were answering the questions......🙂

I found micro/path a bit easier. Anatomy was tough too.
I don;t think that just decks are sufficent. Decks are good but are vague. They start from one things but end with other. But they are very helpful in answering questions. As I said earlier theory is very important...

TMJ is always imp. You should know its histo and its different positions during jaw movements as I remeber from my test. I had 98 in Dent. ant and I feel decks are usually sufficient if you have prior concept of basics other wise I would recommend Ten cate for its histo/physio and occlusion from Kaplan as supplement.
