Hey guys,

I am interested in your opinions on this particular foot model.

I will be finishing up lower anatomy in the next couple of months. I know that several students have decided to purchase a cheaper model that does not contain any of the soft tissue structures.

The only downside I see in my chosen model is that it doesn't appear to have the capability of separating the individual bones for study of every surface angle, which the elastic bone models will allow you to do.

I'm not too worried about the price of this product since I plan on keeping it around for a long time after school for use as a reference aide while in residency & practice.

So, do those of you further along in your career recommend this purchase ?

Thanks !!

I actually have that specific foot model you mentioned, however I also purchased the cheaper model of just the bones connected by elastic as well. I have used them both extensively and thought they were both helpful in Biomechanics, Pod Surgery, and Anatomy classes. I don't use them much anymore (3rd year), however during those classes they were great.
I plan on putting the expensive foot model on a shelf in my office someday, so I went ahead and purchased it. I also figured I that could use it to show foot anatomy to patients when needed. Hope that helps!
