I have a few questions on this, if you could help me I would appreciate it a lot!!!!

1) Which one of the following statements of the pelvis is false?
A. Posterior, inferior iliac spine is greater to syatic notch
B. Most inferior portion of the coccyx bone is the ischial tuberosity
C. False pelvis is posterior, inferior and superior to the pelvis

1b) Which of the following statements about the dermis is false? (pg. 149)
A. Superficial portion called the papillary region
B. It is a thicker, deeper layer of the skin

2) The sex steroids cause growth spurts that occur during teenage years. Elongation of bones stops because of __________? estrogen ????

4) Which of the following statements about the hyoid bones is false? (pg. 212)

#1- The ischial tuberosity is NOT the most inferior portion of the coccyx

#1B - The dermis does NOT have cells that begin to undergo keratinization

#4's FALSE answer = Suspended from the styloid process of temporal bones by ligaments and muscles. THat's not even close to where they hyoid bone is. They styloid process is behind your ear.

Not sure what you mean on D&E of #5... but OsteoCLASTS resorb bone

And I can probably find the rest of the answers tomorrow considering i will be studying for my gross anatomy test.
 
#5 I think it is just a decrease in GH (growth hormone)
