Hi guys,
I am looking for a good anatomy book or atlas that provides self testing material. Can anyone recommend anything? Thanks

i'd try high yield gross anatomy combined with netters anatomy and netters flash cards.

I've never used this book, but I've heard that BRS for gross anatomy is useful for anatomy class (not for the boards) and every chapter has self assessment questions at the end.

Hi,

BRS with netter works well. As far as some additional guides, the Rohen anatomy atlas is great, awesome dissected cadaver pics to prep for a lab exam. We use Moore's as a text, great book, but too extensive, I just use it for the proverbial "blue boxes" that come on our exams and they say "pop up on the shelfs and boards". What's really helping me so far is the BRS/netter mix and visiting the lab a couple of hours a week beyond lab. Hope that helps 🙂 Good luck !

Netters atlas of clinical anatomy is a CD-ROM that has the slides from netters atlas the book with the option of taking off the label so that you can quiz yourself, or you can run self tests. If you don't want to buy additional materials then just use a card or paper to hide the labels in whatever atlas you like and quiz yourself.

Here also is some good online anatamy items:

Hope these help, and good luck with your studies
