Hi-
I am freaking out a little and would really appreciate any responses if anyone can help me out. Should I be using High Yield Gross Anatomy or Kaplan Anatomy? HY Gross seems very detailed (more than Kaplan) and as though it will take a lot more time-- is it worth the time investment? Or is Kaplan+First Aid sufficient?

I would really appreciate any response. Thanks!

I thought that HY Gross Anatomy was quite managable once you ignore the pathology and obscure injuries (what part of what bone is broken when something falls from above onto your head)....when you do that there's not much that isn't in FA. The upper and lower extremity sections were the most helpful; the rest, not so much.

Kaplan has good books but the anatomy one sucked. HY is pretty decent (from what i hear - didn't use it). there is also USMLE Road map gross - which is good - has lots of clinical correlations. In the end though, remember very low yield topic - just concentrate on brachial plexus.

good luck
