Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been collecting student doctor reviews on various anesthesia programs and thought I'd share some of my findings. The reviews are usually from within the past few years and tend to be a little more in depth than the usual "this program rocks" or "this program sucks..."

If you'd like to contribute to the effort, add review to this thread with a date of the original review. I'll try to update the reviews every couple weeks or so. And if you've got any suggestions, past them along.

Added a few programs programs from Tensegrity's file. Fixed the UPenn/UPMC mix up.
If you can contribute to the effort, the help would be great.

Scutwork.com also has many of these sorts of reviews/impressions that you could add to your document if you were so inclined.

Very cool! Thanks for posting!

Its on the bottom half of page 20. Also, you have two Penn sections (one starting on page 19 and another on page 26). Regardless, its awesome that you compiled this and are sharing it. Best of luck w/applications and interviews.

Anybody have opinions on strong programs in ChiTown?

Just updated the file, see the first post to download it.

Be cautious with the Utah file... had it last year when I was interviewing and found out that a lot of the info was getting "aged" and some was outright inaccurate after visiting some of the schools.

Bumping for a couple reasons.

1. Tranman was kind enough to compile various reviews from the past interview threads. However, there are numerous threads with program reviews not based on interview experiences but rather on resident experiences. For example, the current MGH/Duke/Hopkins thread is awesome and gives a better insight than you can get on a 1-day interview. What should we do with all these scattered reviews - compile them into a thread called (ex.) "Resident Reviews" ? All MS4's, cast your opinion here.

2. It's interview season again and we should start a separate "2009 Interview Review" thread.

Also, I started sticking any threads where I see some detailed and seemingly earnest reviews written by RESIDENTS, GRADUATES or FACULTY (not interviewing applicants) into the updated 2008-9 residency applicant FAQ which is in the sticky notes at the top of the forum.
