Any good suggestions? I've been using "Anger Management: The Complete Treatment Guidebook for Practitioners" but I was wondering if people have had good experience with any other books. Thanks.

I've used some anger books based on ACT (Forsyth et al.) and mindfulness (Wexler maybe?) that worked well with clients in the past.

I thought the "Serenity Now" technique was disproved by Lloyd Braun's seminal work, "Serenity Now, Insanity Later."

You know, I'm starting to get real mad at people making a mockery of my thread on anger management...I'm getting really mad...HOOCHIE MAMA!! HOOCHIE MAMA!!

I actually showed this episode of Seinfeld in an anger managment group at the VA this year. 🙂

have used the SAMHSA anger management for the anger management group I just finished leading for over a year. I'd give it a strong "eh" rating. Some good stuff in there, but a lot of things that were hard for my group to really connect with.

Sent you a PM.
