Hello all,
I am drilling hard for the PAT with CDP. On pretty much all the sections, I have been getting 12+... except angle ranking. On my last test, test 2, I got 8/15 🙁. I thought I had the laptop/bike on a hill strategy going well, hitting around 80% on the practice 2500 Angle Rankings (royal flush edition), but once I got to test 2 I really got slaughtered, as those tricks did not work. So, I went back to SDN, in search of a new strategy...
Last night I read a post about leaning back as far as you can. After scoffing at this strategy a couple of times in the past, I decided to give it a shot on the 2500 practice. To my chagrin, I hit 94% after 8 minutes of practice, with an average of 14 seconds per angle (do the math for how many angles- I guess a little more than 30). I was amazed... problems that would make me curse at my laptop after laptop strategy didn't work were literally pieces of cake for me. Even if I had to limit it down to 50/50 and take an educated guess (which previously ended up in 50/50 right/wrong), the educated guess would win it.
So my humble advice is: if you are a dedicated laptop/hill strategist, give leaning back a shot. I am sorry that I forgot the original poster for this. But, he said to move your chair back so your head is 5 feet from the computer... and then lean your head back even more. Try it... it's awesome (at least for me).
Good luck!
