Since this is the hardest section of the PAT, I suggest we get a tips thread going:

1) Take a 5 sec breather before you start the angle PAT get focused. Top Front End can be intimidating and starting angles right after is not cool. Take a break.
2) Look at the answer choices if you are able to cut down choices based on answer choices For example:
a) 1234
b) 2134
c) 2143
d) 1243
work your way through if not and you are presented with something like this:
a) 4312
b) 1243
c) 2134
d) 3124
proceed to number 3
3) Look at all 4 angles in the sequence they are given. Look at each one like microtenth of a second and determine which one you think is the smallest and largest. You should be able to deduce down a couple of more choices
4) Use the rapid eye glance technique to deduce down between two answers
5) Search SDN for great tips on differentiating bigger and smaller angles on various angle choices given. For example: (Laptop technique for obtuse angles or hill technique for acute angles). Build up an arsenal of techniques that will help you determine the difference between any angle choices that can be given on the test
6) Practice practice practice the more practice you get the better your brain will be between differentiating what angles are bigger than what angles.
7) Learn from your mistakes, look at the answer choices and determine why one angle is bigger than the other. This is the most important tip I can give you.
8) Don't use your markers or hands to cover up the angles so it will be easier for you to visualize the portion of the angle you are supposed to. Even better do it in your practice tests that way you figure out where you need to be looking at the angle to make an appropriate deduction. I am giving this advice to you because I guarantee you ADA is probably monitoring these forums and are probably looking out for people doing this on the test since there has been such a surge in people saying this is legit. Don't fall in other people's traps in getting your scores cancelled.

The techniques can be all found on SDN DAT discussions by a quick search. Please don't fish for just simple answers that you can attain through a quick search on your own time. I would love input from other people as well that they think might be good tips for this section since this seems like the hardest section to master.
