So I searched for a thread about the AACOMAS grade v. actual grade question and I found the one from a few weeks ago, but it seems still that my school does things a little differently. For instance, if I got a B in a class, I would get 9 points. And if I got ALL B's for the semester, I would have a 3.0 GPA. I'm on my fourth school (although I have my ugrad degree from one of them) and they all do it this way. I've never recieved a + or - after any of my letter grades. So do I just forget about the +/- thing and put 4.0 for A's, 3.0 for B's, etc?? Thanks for answering and sorry that it is a repeat from way back.

i think in situations like this, its best to call them.

If you only get numbers based upon the solid grade score: B in a 3 credit hour course, I would say that you probably could forget the +/- thing. However, if it is possible the get 10 points in a 3 credit hour course...I would expect that is the same as getting a B+.

Regardless, I agree with the previous poster...you can always call them, they were very helpful to me on multiple occasions.
