Dear prospective radiology residency applicants,
The time is drawing near again. Last year we at radRounds were able to help over 100+ applicants. We decided to do it again and our volunteer network definitely wants to participate (residents, fellows, and attendings from various academic and community practices).
All you MSIV's who are applying for radiology, that is great news! You have chosen a wonderful specialty!
What we found in my experience is that the quality of mentorship and advice radiology-bound medical students get is hit or miss. Therefore, we wanted to solve that problem and help you.
I am a coFounder of radRounds--a website focused on radiology and professional networking within the field. We have over 2400+ radiologists, many residents as members.
From our membership, we have assembled a team of residents and attendings who have volunteered to serve as virtual-advisors for medical students.
We can serve to answer any questions, offer inside info (if we know of any) on specific programs, help with interview tips, review personal statements (please give us time on this though, don't wait till the last minute), and anything at all. This is free and anonymous (if you wish).
Please use any means of communication you would like with us. You can contact us here on SDN via private messaging, [email protected], [email protected], or on our site radRounds.com via PM there.
All your questions or information is held in strict confidence. You do not need to tell us who you are.
Best regards and we look forward to helping you.
