another aadsas question

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes, you do. I would recommend you complete your AADSAS application first, before you send in supplemental materials, as it will be the end of June before any of our applications are mailed from AADSAS, and so you will have a bit more time to get your money orders, photos, etc. in place.

so will we have to get our school to send the hpac packet to each school that wants it? or does the fact that aadsas is forwarding it to them suffice? same question about transcripts?
thanks,

Before you get too excited, make sure you check the updated 2008 link.

Then, follow the directions for each school. If it says send in materials at the same time a submitting AADSAS then that is what you need to do. Some schools will tell you to wait until you hear from them.

Generally, the AADSAS application will be sufficient for most materials if what the school wants is actually in the AADSAS application. However, some schools do want actual transcripts/LORs in addition to/duplication of AADSAS. Check the school website and/or call the admissions office to make sure you have it right. Not every school will tell you your application is on hold until they get X, Y, and Z. Admissions offices might assume you know what you are doing and not send you an application status letter. After AADSAS says the the application is sent you might want to wait 7-10 days for snail and then give the admissions office a call to see what else is needed, assuming you've already followed the directions on their website. If you call and haven't done what is clearly stated on the website you'll end up feeling pretty silly.
