I just took the pcat for the second time and got a 94 (scored an 82 the first time). I'm happy with the composite, but it was mostly due to getting 99s in both reading and verbal. The bio/chem/quant scores were all mid-70s.

Do you think the average scores in the sciences will hurt me? Should I take the pcat again in august? I wouldnt worry about it, but my gpa is a 3.1 and my science gpa is probably lower (havent submitted pharmcas yet). I cant really re-take anything to bring up by gpa, b/c i mostly made Bs with only 3 C's. (I'm re-taking one of the Cs next semester). Plus I've already graduated, so I'm re-taking classes at CC.

I've got tons of really involved ECs, research, study abroad, volunteer trips, and 1year pharm experience.

So what do you guys think? will trying to score higher in the science sections of the pcat help?? i just dont want to risk lowering my composite!

Every school that I have spoken with says that only care about composite. Trust me, in my case I WISH they cared more about chemistry, etc. than the verbal scores, I got an 87 on three sections but got an 82 composite due to my 53 on the verbal.
