Similar to that other thread. I got 6 letters and deciding which 4 I should use.
LOR 1: my research PI, associate professor in nuclear medicine, I worked with him during summer research doing clinical research, got a publication and poster presentation, although this has nothing to do with anesthesia. He told me he'll prob write about my research and what I did so not sure how helpful this is gonna be for anesthesia.
LOR 2: Medicine letter, associate professor, worked with him for a month. He's a clerkship director and he was also my small group adviser and my floor attending. He said he'll write me a strong letter on behalf of the department of medicine. Good relationship with him, so most likely I'm gonna use this letter.
LOR 3: assistant professor in anesthesia, worked with him for a week. I also had a good relationship with him and he said he'll write me a strong letter. He asked me if I wanted to see the letter even though i waived it, so i assume it'll be good.
LOR 4: assistant professor in anesthesia, also director of the ICU department. Worked with him in ICU and I'm also doing a research project with him. I think he likes me and he said he'll write me a strong letter.
LOR 5: associate professor in anesthesia, residency program director, worked with him for a week. Had a good relationship with him. Worked with him in ICU and OR. He offered to review my PS and he said he'll write me a strong letter.
LOR 6: full professor. Chief and chairman of anesthesia, never worked with him but he's my mentor. He's well connected and he said he'll write me a strong letter
