OK so I've taken AAMC 3,4,7, which are apparently the easiest, and so far most of the questions I miss are "I made an easy question more difficult" (I honestly think that TBR might have something to do with this).

I'm fluctuating from 10-11 ish on the sciences... should I try picking the most obvious answer for a test, even if it seems realllyyyy easy? Or is the MCAT alot harder than AAMC 3,4,7 and I should just keep studying. Has anybody ever felt like this? I feel like I know enough to get over a low 30 on the MCAT, but I'm making it harder than it is and making dumb mistakes...

you know everyone says the actual mcat is way harder then practice tests but I really dont think so. My bio may of been a bit harder, but i think on my real mcat verbal was easier overall and PS was the same or easier.

From what I understand, your average on the AAMC practice tests is quite predictive of your real score whether you get an easy version of the real thing or a hard version. So I wouldn't sit there thinking "how am I going to do things on the real test to compensate for its difficulty?" Think about how you're going to do things on all practice material and that will translate to the real thing.

Keep in mind that the AAMC's self diagnostic feature is just that- maybe you're rationalizing that you knew the answer when you see the explanation and you need to work on your overall understanding of the material a little better.
