Hello everyone. I like these threads as they give us all an idea of where everyone else is, so here is my app:

I am 25

I have a BS in psychology from Florida State University

I also have a BA in philosophy from FSU

I have experience working in neuroscience labs and experimental psychology labs at my undergrad school

My overall GPA is about a 3.5 give or take some classes FSU forgave me my freshman year

I just completed a postbacc at NYU where my GPA was 3.00 exactly, though I had one semester of very poor grades owing to a family problem that required withdrawing for one semester and going back with poor concentration, before ending with a 4.0 during the last two summer semesters.

I have 2 years of paid research experience at a major hospital in Manhattan studying bone diseases.

I have a few hundred hours of volunteering at a cardiac catheter lab also in manhattan where I assisted the expediters and had extensive interaction with the surgeons, doctors, and nurses, including watching hundreds of procedures from the tech room.

My MCAT score is 32R with two 10's and a 12 in biological sciences

I dont know if GRE scores affect medical school admissions at all but I took it a few years ago and got a 1310

I'm worried about my low GPA but I think everything else is fairly decent. Thanks everybody!

Is your post-bac GPA 3.00 even including the 4.00 semesters?

Post-bac is going to be totaled in with your undergrad cumulative and science GPAs, so if your post-bac GPA is poor, your 3.5 may end up being quite a bit lower.
