Ya, so I got rejected from Loma Linda today. It looks like there is a pretty good support group for us Loma Linda rejects. I did kind of want to go there for the relative closeness to Big Bear Mountain I must admit. Snow boarding in Phoenix just isn't the greatest. Oh well... You know that's why you all wanted to go there too!

Question: Does anyone here know what LLU looks for in their applicants? My file I'm sure is pretty average, I looked at predents and it looks like there are lots of high gpa, high DAT applicants who have been rejected. Since they are so fast to reject, they must have some very specific criteria they are looking for. Please enlighten me any LLU people.

I didn't do a secondary. I just looked at my AADSAS status at my designated schools and there was a note that said, "Received/Application Denied". I spoke Cyndi with LLU's admissions a couple weeks back and she said that after they review the completed application, they will send a secondary. I haven't gotten an email or a letter. I imagine I'll probably get a letter in the next few days. I don't think I've seen anyone on this forum get an interview with LLU. my stats are 18/18/19 with a gpa of 3.4overall 3.5 science. I know my DAT isn't great, but hopefully I'll land 1 or 2 interviews this cycle. I applied to 15 schools.

Just looked at predents, looks like 17 have been rejected, no one has been given an interview yet.

I'm a first year at LLU...

I know they are looking for those who are service oriented and I think they weigh the DAT heavily. It also doesn't hurt if you are religious (I am, but not SDA).

I know that you will get interviews. I have seen lots of people with your stats that are getting interviews. I know that it is really hard to wait but it will come. Good luck.

Ya Moose, I think it was my DAT scores that did me in. I have lots of service, I'm pretty churchy. Thank for the encouragement JMC. Hey, I applied to 15 schools, so we'll see what happens.
