I read another post and it kinda made me wonder...is SDN (or even the internet in general) the cause (or part of the cause) for statistical inflation of those accepted to d-school over the past x years?
My theory is that people come on here and see 3.9 GPAs and 25's on the DAT and think, oh crap my 3.4 aint cutting it (not that I have a 3.4 or anything, lol), and they work they're ass off to get to the 3.6. Enough people do this and the averages are going to rise. And although SDN represents a small population of people who actually apply, I think there are a good amount of lurkers out there that dont post. And even if its not on SDN, they can see on other places some of the numbers of people getting in.
