Hi vipassana! Welcome to the Anesthesia forum!
It is highly suggested, upon visiting and posting here for the first time and/or for someone who's new to this particular forum and interested in the field, that you read all of the FAQs (posted as stickies at the top of this forum) before you post.
If you have specific questions afterwards, people will try to be more helpful. It's just that what you are asking has been asked and answered literally a
bajillion times before by the forum members, and some perceive it as "laziness" when Anesthesia "newbies" come into this forum and ask such questions without doing sufficient background investigations on their own. To some, it may even further demonstrate a not-really-sincere interest in Anesthesiology, a field most of us have a real passion for and are professionally committed to. So, I hope you understand why you got that response above.
To that end, the FAQs are excellent in covering a lot of these bases - including the question you asked. If you still have specific questions after reading the FAQs, people will most likely be more helpful.
