Please tell us what's changed in your stats since the first time you applied. That would help a lot.

I had 4 interviews and ended up waitlisted at 3. I believe my weakness was my interviewing skill. The only major change in my application is my graduate GPA. Plus, more shadowing (~250 hrs total) and volunteering (~200 hrs total).

so, should i keep all of them or narrow it down to about 20 or so?

unless you're a WV resident i'd definitely take WVU off of your list

Where do you have residency?

I'd remove the following schools b/c they take less than 20% out of state (from the only stats available) and you're not too competitive in that respect: Alabama, Iowa, and N. Carolina.
Penn is a longshot, but if it's your dream school give it a try.
How come USC is not on your list? If you have misgivings about there program, now is not the time to be picky. You should add the new school, Western, coming to Pomona too (I think it's opening for this cycle).
Other than that I think you have the right idea. Applying to 20 or more schools is expensive but cheaper than having to apply again in 2009. If you don't get any acceptances by January, get out and retake the DAT. It seems like you should have gotten in somewhere with those stats. Hopefully your interviewing skills will improve with your previous experience.
