Hey guys!

So, I'm a Canadian who wants more than anything to be an optometrist. I will go to any school that will take me, but I would really appreciate some opinions about what kind of a shot I have. Thanks in advance!

Biology major (plan to graduate with my BSc next spring)
~3.45 gpa

OAT= 400TS/370AA

Worked part time as a Pretester for an optometrist for the last 3.5 years

Do you think I'll be looked down on for taking semesters with 4 courses? (Most people I know do this, but I've heard it isn't a good thing? Thoughts?)

What schools do you think I have the best shot at?

Nope, you won't get in because of your lack of self confidence. If this is your attempt to boast your ego by posting your scores, grades and experience, it is wasted time on this forum. Schools want students that are sure of themselves, not those whom feed off praise.
Anyway, just a thought!

damn, dropping the hammer! GREAT post. so refreshing. its incredibly annoying to see someone make a thread asking if they'd get in when they obviously have good enough stats to and know it.
