Is WV really that easy? How come they ignored me so far, and I got interviews at other places?

Is WV really that easy? How come they ignored me so far, and I got interviews at other places?

I predict that WVSOM will be sort of easy this year because they're doubling their class size. However, they seem sort of random in their approach, or at least they're not very focused on numbers. They've got that whole mission to provide primary care doctors to Appalachia and that figures into their admissions decisions.

My bet is that they're going to interview well into late next spring, so I wouldn't worry about not having an interview yet.

Let me give you my personal experience:

I was easily & quickly accepted into KCOM & AZCOM

I did not hear from DMU-COM & OSU-COM until I recieved my August MCAT with a 4 point score jump.

I was rejected from CCOM.

Take from that what you want.
