I don't see the suggestion answering the question. The prompt points to gratitude and humility for me as a reader. You may have achieved your goal but what other benefits did you get that you did not anticipate?
I can go with a stronger relationship with family, but I don't quite see what you gained (you mention just scrolling past the story so I don't get how you were invested here). You weren't on that specific call, and you probably would not have been allowed to work with an injured family member.
