If you use the 2011 USMLE orientation materials you can see the answers to the questions, but no explanations. If you actually take the test at a prometric site (I did this too), I don't think you can see the answers.
If you're looking for explanations, then you can download them from Kaplan, but you have to purchase something from them I think (like a 1 month qbank).
