I see 8 electrons in this molecule (4n+2) n is fraction.. fulfill anti aromatic condition but key says it is not planar. how do you know it is not planar?

Thank you so much guys!!

Remember: all anti-aromatic rings will become nonplanar if they have the ability to do so. This is because when it is nonplanar, it becomes non-aromatic and more stable.

My rule of thumb: any ring with 8 or more atoms can become non planar. Cyclooctatetraene will assume the tub position rather than the planar. Try using your molecular models and see what you can do.
