Antidepressants

Agreed with Spinach Dip.

This information has absolutely no relevance to anything associated with the admissions process.

Not only do you not have to disclose any medications you are currently taking or took in the past, but you should not feel compelled disclose any history of any illness unless you choose to. Occasionally, applicants choose to make mention of some experience with illness as it relates to their career choice and/or a dip in grades, activities, etc. But they do so of their own prerogative, not because they are legally/ethically obliged to.

100% concur. We're not even allowed to ask about stuff like this.

The one thing I want you to consider is that medical school is a crucible, and I've seen it break even healthy students.

As someone who has had serious enough depression that I was on anti-depressants at two different times, I strongly urge you NOT to take this path unless you have a green light from your psychiatrist/therapist or doctor. If you do, good luck!

What medications you are on is not the business of any school you apply to.
