Anyone else antsy about getting their Step 2 CS results? I took mine at the beginning of the reporting period so it's been almost three months. The more time that goes on the more I'm worried that I failed! Anyone want to commiserate?

I take mine on 8/8/11... looks like I'll be waiting a few months for the results.

Yea, I really wish this was like Step 2 CK, which I got back in about three weeks. It's painful waiting three months, especially as I'm preparing ERAS and worried about failing Step 2 CS and having everything go to crap. I've always struggled a bit with all of our OSCEs and they always end up bringing my clerkship grades down a notch. Ugg!
so i heard if you go to iwa to schedule cs. If you cant schedule, then you passed. if you can schedule, then you failed. i don't know how valid that is. and how long prior can you see the change.

what does it say for people who have taken but still waiting? mine says:
"Our records indicate that you are not registered for Step 2 CS"

Mine says that too and if I click on "register" it says you can't register for a Step until your exam score is reported.
I don't think it would make sense to let you sign up again without paying again. It seems like the NBME would want that part first before allowing you to select a date. Maybe that's a throw back to pre-electronic submission and results reporting.
Here's hoping that we all passed. I'm going to be miserable if I didn't!😱

The CS score reporting does take a long time...an R3/PGY3 quoted me "6-8 weeks"...and the USMLE website quoted my score reporting period opening date as August 12...I took CS back on June 22. But yeah I agree the long wait does make one nervous, but it's not necessarily a bad omen. They just take a long time to report the scores in general.

I took mine July 2, I am starting to get really nervous. It won't let me reschedule it says I am still registered. Good luck to everyone.

..we are all expecting long wait..wish everyone pass.

The results will be out at 6:30PM IST-Newdelhi time

NOTE: The above timings work most of the time and these comments are made with the observations made all these years.
Sometimes results may be out 1 hour before and also 1-4 hours after with reference to above mentioned time.

miracles never end, I passed. Read FA CS weekend before exam. On the real exam I relied more on what the patient told me and run with it. Did heart and lung on everyone and whatever their chief concern was.
Forgot to counsel on a couple of cases
had 2 or 3 differentials on some cases
Forgot to tell a couple of patients about need for rectal and stool sample later
Greeted, draped and washed my hands on all cases
exam was early July, goodluck to everyone
