any acceptance from Western??

Im on hold and havent got any letter from them since Feb.. anyone got any answer yet?? 😕

hi, i just joined recently for the purpose of finding out more info about western. i'm on western's alternate list, since march 25th. unfortunately, i don't know anybody personally who got accepted from the "on hold" list or the "alternate" list. but i did hear some stuff, which may just get you more confused. one person called admissions last week and was told there are 40 seats left and letters of acceptance to alternates will be sent out by mail shortly. i got really excited hearing this, BUT then i called western myself on wednesday and the lady i talked to said all the seats were full and the list keeps changing so she couldn't tell me anything. she didn't know how many ppl were on the waiting list and couldn't tell me where i am on the list. so, i don't think this info helped much...sorry, but i just wanted to share with you what i heard so far. did anyone else hear differently?

Im also an "alternate" at Western. They told me the same thing about how the rankings are complete but top secret. Comon, just give us our numbers. If I am #1 I won't have to keep studying for the pcat next month.

Anyways, they pulled a large amount of people off the list last year, so hearing thier full is kinda weird considering I haven't heard of anybody being accepted from the list so far. Anybody from SDN accepted to Western from the alternates? Guess I should get back to studying for that PCAT

What does the hold list really mean? Is it the "3rd" list, after the accepted and alternating lists have already been filled. I think something is fishy because its definition is kind of weird. Also, a friend of mine is on the hold list and he has heard nothing yet either. They sent him a letter saying that they will look at his file on may 16 and then decided. Decided what? Is it kind of late already?

My friend called Western this past week and they told her that they took 10 ppl off their waitlist (waitlist is 80 ppl long). They're being highly secretive and not telling her where she is on the waitlist though. What's the big deal with all this secrecy anyway?
