Or would this be akin to submitting a primary with no transcript? I'm wondering because if it will take me a week or so for AMCAS to get my committee packet then I might as well take the extra time to polish the essays

Thanks!

1) They're not going to look at your secondary without the LOR because it won't be considered complete. Just take the extra time until you get your committee packet there.
2) You can do the interfolio option which would have your letter there in like a day. Talk to adviser about it.
3) Primary without transcript wouldn't get looked at either. They can't verify your grades without your transcript. : P

I submitted most of my secondaries without LORs in July. I think that I may have been place in a queue of some sorts at some schools, because when my letters finally did arrive in mid August, I started receiving IIs almost immediately (I received one II only a couple hours after the letters were uploaded). Considering your letters will arrive in about a week, I don't think it'll matter if you wait or not

Not sure what to make of this.

I have 3 letters listed on AMCAS. 1 committee letter, 2 physician letters. The committee letter and one physician letter have been submitted and processed and are showing up as received on all of my secondaries. I've been submitting my secondaries with the understanding that they would not be marked as complete until the final letter was received.

Now that I have been checking the progress of my applications, at least 2 secondaries are marked as complete. Does this mean that they will not receive the letter?

Many schools require either 1 committee letter or 3 letters from faculty, etc. Therefore, their intake/processing systems have marked you as having a committee letter submitted thus completed the requirement

OK. That makes sense. Any idea what will become of the final letter? Will AMCAS just process it and send it like normal or will it not be received since I'm already marked complete?

Sarcasm aside. Thank you, I appreciate the input.
