I'm considering buying some flashcards to help with the DAT studying process, might be helpful to kill time since I use public transportation a bit.

For coursework at my school, I don't usually use flashcards. But I do notice that I perform much better when I have made outlines of the subject material to breeze through before the test.

I do plan to enroll in Kaplan course prep this summer because I don't think I'm a strong test-taker in deducing material that I may not have seen before and also because I got a 50% discount scholarship on the course.

Kaplan does give flashcards as part of the course prep, correct?...

Should I just wait for the Kaplan course to start? Or should I consider buying other flashcard materials?

I was thinking maybe buying one of these...Does anyone have any suggestion on any DAT flashcard products?

CliffsNotes AP Biology Flashcards

MCAT Biological Sciences (the bad part might be the physics that I won't need, but gives more than just biology)

I think your time would be better spent buying a copy of Cliff's ap biology and just reading into it like its a novel.

I personally find it useless to start studying off of flash cards without having strong background in the information, but thats just me, I am not a flash-card kinda person

I agree with dentalWorks. I read the chapters in Cliffs first and then purchased the Cliff's notecards. I look at them on my bus rides to work and back.

Kaplan DAT flashcards were really helpful for me. To make your own takes too much time that you could spend studying. Cliffs is fine too - but Kaplan was better
